Those who suffer from being unable to decide between two things, first one seeming right then the other. They are usually quiet people, and their difficult alone as they are not inclined to discuss it with others.

Reflection

Scleranthus reflects indecision. Two paths pull, the mood swings between them, and no choice is allowed to stand. James pictures a person who asks and then wavers as a wave driven by the wind. The way through is to ask God and then be still enough to walk. A decision made before God can be reviewed later. It does not have to be remade every hour.

James 1:6 (KJV). "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed."

Meditation

Lord, I ask You to steady me. I bring You this choice. Give me a clear step, and grace to walk in it without turning at every wind.
